Long ago, early humans lived a very simple life depending completely on nature. They had no houses, clothes, or farms and moved from place to place in search of food and water. They lived in caves, trees, or under rocks to stay safe from wild animals. Early humans ate raw meat, fruits, and plants and used sticks and stones as tools. They communicated through gestures and sounds and wore leaves or animal skins for clothing.

The Stone Age began when humans started making and using stone tools. It is divided into three main periods:

1. Paleolithic Age (Old Stone Age):
   • Humans lived in caves and hunted animals for food.
   • The biggest discovery was fire, which helped them cook food, stay warm, and protect themselves.
   • They made cave paintings and used rough stone tools.
2. Mesolithic Age (Middle Stone Age):

• • Tools became smaller and sharper.
  • Humans started fishing and domesticating animals like dogs, sheep, and goats.
  • They lived in caves or temporary huts and began to stay longer in one place.

1. Neolithic Age (New Stone Age):
   • People learned farming and animal domestication.
   • They built mud houses, made pottery, and wore woven clothes.
   • The wheel was invented, and people began living in villages.
   • Life became more settled and organized.

After the Stone Age came the Bronze Age, when humans began using metal tools, leading to the growth of trade and early civilizations.

Early humans evolved from being hunters and gatherers to farmers and settlers. Discoveries like fire, tools, and farming changed their lives completely and laid the foundation for modern human civilization.
